Sushi is a popular Japanese dish made by topping or filling vinegared rice with a variety of ingredients.

Some of the most popular sushi ingredients include raw seafood, egg, and various vegetables.

However, unlike many foods, not many people have a clear idea about the nutritional properties of sushi.

This article aims to change that by presenting the nutritional values for 13 of the most popular types of sushi.

The source for all nutritional data is the USDA’s FoodData Central database. Percent daily values (% daily value) have been calculated using USDA data and the FDA’s recommended daily values.
